Uitslaande brand in winkelpand Stevinstraat
Scheveningen – In een winkelpand aan de Stevinstraat in Scheveningen is vanavond een uitslaande brand uitgebroken.
Rond 21:00 uur kwam de melding binnen van een brand bij de brandweer en rukte meerdere brandweervoertuigen uit.
Bij aankomst van de brandweer bleek de brand al uitslaand te zijn en heeft de brandweer opgeschaald naar ‘Middelbrand’ en later naar ‘Grote Brand’.
Vijf omliggende woningen zijn door de brandweer ontruimd. In één van de woningen was een mindervalide persoon aanwezig. Deze is door de politie naar buiten gehaald waardoor twee agenten (licht) gewond raakte. Zij zijn door de ambulancebemanning nagekeken op rookinhalatie, maar vervoer was niet nodig.
De brand was aan de achterzijde van het pand uitslaand.
de brandweer druk bezig geweest om het vuur te onder controle te krijgen en te blussen.
Rond 22:00 kon het sein ‘brand meester’ worden gegeven.
