Man die vrouw mishandelde in woning aangehouden in Duitsland
Scheveningen – Een 31-jarige man die wordt verdacht van een gewelddadige insluiping in een huis aan de Sleepnetstraat in Scheveningen is afgelopen woensdag door de Duitse politie aangehouden. De 63-jarige bewoonster werd twee weken geleden zwaar mishandeld en ook haar 71-jarige man liep verwondingen op. De politie kwam de man op het spoor nadat er foto’s en beelden van hem werden getoond in de opsporingsprogramma’s Team West en Opsporing Verzocht.
De bewoners van het huis in de Scheveningse Visserijbuurt lagen in de nacht van 20 op 21 april te slapen, toen de vrouw ineens wakker schrok omdat er een man in haar slaapkamer stond. Die was via een openstaand raam binnengekomen en begon de vrouw vrijwel meteen tegen haar hoofd en in haar gezicht te slaan.
Ook de echtgenoot van het slachtoffer werd tegen zijn hoofd geslagen en raakte gewond, toen hij in een worsteling met de insluiper belandde. De man wist hem wel het huis uit te werken. De vrouw was bont en blauw en moest op meerdere plekken worden gehecht.

Toen een buurtbewoonster een aantal uur na het incident in de nabijgelegen Loggerstraat bij haar auto kwam, bleek dat daar een man in zat. Voor hij halsoverkop vertrok, maakte de vrouw een aantal foto’s van hem. Daarop was te zien dat de man gewond was en dat er bloed op zijn kleding zat. Mede hierdoor, maar ook door andere beelden en het verdere onderzoek dat is gedaan, zag de politie hem als verdachte van de gewelddadige insluiping aan de Sleepnetstraat.
Vanwege de ernst van het incident toonde de politie de foto’s en beelden vijf dagen later al in Team West en Opsporing Verzocht. Na de uitzendingen ontving de recherche diverse tips, waarbij de naam van de man werd genoemd. Hij werd in overleg met het Openbaar Ministerie internationaal gesignaleerd. Dit leidde ertoe dat hij woensdag in het Duitse Waldbröl kon worden aangehouden. Aan de Duitse autoriteiten is om overlevering van de 31-jarige man gevraagd
